“I shouldn’t have to tell you this isn’t a fairy story…”
Amie Wentworth lives in a fantasy world. It’s far better to face the monsters in the books she writes than deal with being twenty-seven, single, and scared of relationships. Not even a mysterious invitation from along-lost uncle tempts her to step outside her sheltered life.
But when she’s stabbed in an alley and brought back to life by a handsome stranger, Amie is suddenly dragged into the very sort of tale she’s used to telling. She tries to pretend none of it is real, which is hard to do when the man who saved her keeps turning up. To make matters worse, people won’t stop trying to murder her. With no choice but to cross the Atlantic to the safety of her uncle’s estate, Amie discovers a world beyond imagining.
Silver Hollow is a place of ancient traditions and supernatural dangers, where the truth is stranger than fiction. Uncle Henry wants her to take over the family business, her grandfather might be the real King Arthur, and her savior is strangely familiar. As her enemies close in, Amie will confront a deadly family legacy while remembering a life she wishes to forget.
The first installment in the Borderlands Saga, Silver Hollow is an adult fairy tale for anyone willing to believe in six impossible things before breakfast.

What are people saying about Silver Hollow?
“Amie’s family legacy thrusts her into an age-old conflict, unable to stop the return of a hidden past, no matter how much she might want. She’s just a girl from Texas, the fate of a supernatural realm suddenly resting solely on her. She might be able to pull it off, if she could just figure out who to trust.
Silver Hollow is a roller coaster fantasy of epic proportions. There are faeries and magic and dragons and battles. There’s kissing too. It was at turns funny and heart-wrenching, with a pinch of pop culture, a whole lot of discovery, and a healthy dash of kickass heroine.”
“Jennifer Silverwood’s SILVER HOLLOW IS more than a fairy tale. It is epic in its scope and its promise for more to come! As one young woman discovers why she never quite fit in, she will discover more about her past, her present and her future than she could have ever imagined! Amie will also find the missing pieces of her heart, her life and her destiny.
Brilliant world building on Ms. Silverwood’s part creates an atmosphere of danger and romance as each scene unfolds and we are drawn deeper into Amie’s new reality as it morphs into a true saga with each twist and turn. Incredible characters, a magical atmosphere, and a heroine who comes into her own in spite of the chaos around her.
Love the action, love the world, love the romance, love the chaos and all those delicious secrets…love ’em!”
“I really enjoyed the worldbuilding in this novel, and the descriptions were very great at making you feel like you were actually there in the novel. I did feel like there were a lot of twists and turns, and I also really enjoyed that. There was humor and sadness, and intrigue and romance. All in all, this book had everything I wanted, and everything that would make it a good book, but I think just because it was hard for to stay sucked into the story made it a book I didn’t love, although I did enjoy it.
I would highly recommend this novel if you are a fan of fantasy worlds. I might try to reread it in the future to see how much my opinion has changed with being able to follow along more. I look forward to reading more by Jennifer Silverwood.”
“This is a very good story. I really enjoyed reading it. The different types of magic and such were weaved into the story very well. Great work Jennifer.
The characters are well-developed and there is such diversity in the different characters, it makes for very interesting interaction between them.
The setting is easy to picture and enjoyable to get familiar with. The story flows well from chapter to chapter.
I would highly recommend this book to other readers. I can’t wait for the next book with the continuation of this story.”

“Silver Hollow is the first in a series that introduces the reader to Amie and a world of magic. This story is well-written and completely UN-put-down able. In fact, I managed to get through this story in a day!
This well-crafted story introduces us to so many characters with whom we cannot help but fall in love. There is so much to learn and love, so much to know, that as a reader you will be left yearning for more.
The bond Amie develops with her uncle and with the man who saved her life, as well as with the various people she meets is both heart-warming and heart-wrenching. How much can you trust a person? How well can you know someone? As secrets are revealed and memories of a past life come to the surface, Amie is faced with decisions that could shape her life and who she is. She discovers the truth about her parents, her friends and this alters her perception of who she is. I especially enjoyed the many references made to some characters of legends like King Arthur, Merlin, Titania and many others. This is a world filled with magic and non-magic, a place where for a long time secrets have been buried. Amie is destined to either fill the void and save everyone or destroy it once and for all.
The story is sprinkled with romance and witty comments, many light-hearted moments that are sure to bring a smile to the readers lips. It is definitely worth the read and is a book that I would recommend in the fantasy-romance section now.”

“When I picked up this book, I thought it would be a typical fantasy book. I was wrong. Jennifer Silverwood has created a book that has familiar elements but incorporates other stories into hers.
Amie is a woman who has faced many tragedies. She lost her parents at eighteen and her saving grace has been her best friends who watch out for her. Soon, the friends cannot do anything to save her from the danger that awaits her on the other side of the “veil” where she discovers her true heritage.
I mentioned that this book incorporates elements that I wasn’t expecting. Amie becomes a part of the Seelie and Unseelie world. She has magic that has been hidden from her. This is a book where she uncovers one piece at a time her past and her heritage. There are also ancient tales that become part of her story. I was happy and surprised to find Arthur and Merlin as part of her story. (I grew up loving that story.)
This book is full of intrigue, war between ancient legends, romance, and non-graphic violence. There are fade to black scenes of intimacy.”
“Silver Hollow is a little different from my normal go to genre. However, it is a perfect reminder why I should do that more often. I thought it was pretty good. I liked Amie from the start and was fascinated with her story. She experiences horror and tragedy and then a twist I did not expect it all.
I give Silver Hollow four stars and recommend it to readers who enjoy paranormal romances. Such a beautiful and magical tale.
I received this book from the author. This review is 100% my own honest opinion.”
“Silver Hollow is the first book in the Borderlands Saga by Jennifer Silverwood. This is certainly an interesting & magical little world. I enjoyed Amie as a character, and it was just as much of an adventure for me as it was for her as she figures out her heritage and who she really is. As the reader, you’ll figure it out long before she does, but it’s still fun. There are many secrets. You’ll meet several characters through this story, but be careful who you trust! *wink* I’m excited about this series, and I’m already looking forward to the next book!
