We read to escape, yes, but we also pour hours of our time into a story. So thank you to everyone who was willing to take a chance and escape to Silver Hollow. I know what some of y’all are thinking, another book tour already? But this one is extra special. Why? Because it’s a review only tour. Okay, mostly only. Sometimes you’ll get an excerpt instead of a review. Sometimes, as much as a reader wants to like a book, it just doesn’t fit in their “cup of tea” as we say. I love book reviews, no matter the star, because I love the chance to read people’s reactions to my book babies.
A quick word of advice for new and aspiring authors on book tours and reviews. Always remember you are a storyteller and a guest. The person reading them has given their time to take part in your journey. Also, blogging is hard work, y’all. Many bloggers have help crafting stellar posts, but most of them still take the extra time to make every post personal. No matter what, a blogger is taking time out of their busy day to share about your story. Give them as much love as you can. After all, if we don’t like and appreciate posts about our own work, why should they, or anyone for that matter? Be kind and rewind, folks 😉
Now back to you, reader, friend and fellow fantasy avenger ;), while I know better than anyone how tight finances can be, it would mean the world to me if y’all would pick up a copy of Silver Hollow today.
