To those of you who have been patiently waiting for the next in my Wylder Tales series, I wanted to thank you so much for your support, and to apologize for yet another delay. Because I had already been forced to push back my pre-order's release date on Amazon, I ran out of additional dates and had to take down my listing today. This doesn't mean I won't release Bound Beauty period, just that we're looking at a summer release instead of spring.
Want to read Blackbriar Cove?
If you've read Silver Hollow, or been wanting to read it (it's free on Amazon, whoop!) we're now offering reader copies of Blackbriar Cove. I am so excited to share and hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I loved writing it, friend.
Weekly Writerly Witterings ~ Your Writing Craft
The best advice I can offer you is to not be your worst enemy. Youโll always find someone out there who is better (or more experienced) than you are. But when you focus too much on how much better someone else seems to be or be doing, itโs way too easy to lose sight of your progress. Remember, if youโre writing, youโre constantly growing your craft. It wonโt happen overnight. Itโs going to take time, hard work, and little thanks in the beginning (sometimes longer).
Weekly Writerly Witterings ~ Ballet, Yoga, and Finding my Sanity
Now that I'm in my 30's, I've realized how important it is to cut out time for myself. I used to guilt myself over this as a new mom, but after crashing and burning because Iย wasn't taking care of myself, I've learned from past mistakes. No matter how much you love your kids, your spouse, or your job, you can't neglect yourself.ย
Weekly Writerly Witterings ~ Blackbriar Cove
At the end of the day, I can't really say what's going to happen in the future. I'll finish my second draft of Blackbriar Cove. I'll hug my little guy. I'll readย a lotย of books. Above all, I'll keep writing, no matter what. That's my promise to my future self.
