This is something I find so fascinating in books about immortals, whether vampires, gods, etc. They’re complex characters by necessity. And I always think about how the loss has affected them over time. Everyone needs something to cling to, whether it’s a cause or purpose, or even an unhealthy obsession. But I like to imagine that some love is worth the risk of opening our hearts again, even after we’ve been burned. And that’s a big part of Rona’s journey in Stay 🙂

Right? I loved the stormy cover too, but it left the reader wondering what the subject matter was. I feel like we finally have the right blend with this newbie so we have enough hints to know what it’s about 😀 I couldn’t have figured this one out without you either, Herms! ❤
