Welcome back to another writerly wittering update, friend! Let’s be honest, this is more of a monthly than a weekly series, and has been for some time. Alas, I’m far too lazy to change the title, and it serves as a long-standing goal of mine. Maybe future me will finally get this whole scheduling thing right? Someday when I’m not chasing a toddler around the house… On that note, let’s talk about the Borderland Saga and Silver Hollow!

Those of you who have been with me a while on this blog may be aware of Silver Hollow and its sequels. But did you know that the Borderlands Saga is actually a larger world that also incorporates the Wylder Tales trilogy? Craving Beauty and the Wylder Tales takes place hundreds of years in the past, but it’s all very much connected. Those of you who read the series will be able to spot the connections. I’ll avoid spoilers here for the most part and save those for the newsletter crew ๐Ÿ˜‰

While planning out my return to the world of Silver Hollow, I worked with my cover designer to give my first full-length novel a cover lift. This isn’t the first time I’ve updated a cover to adapt to shifting trends. While I’m still in love with all three covers, frankly, (even my 2012 edition) it is still such a fun process. Maybe I’m biased because I have the best cover designer ever (here’s looking at you, Najla!). Which of these are your favorites? Do you prefer covers with or without people on them?

Pre-Order Bound Beauty Today!

Forgotten gods haunt her steps, and the cursed prince she left behind isn’t done fighting for her soul.

Vynasha is bound to the prince of Bitterhelm. Even if she were to die, her spirit will remain trapped with him in the castle forever. But she won’t give in to Grendel without a fight. With the aid of an oracle, a witchling, and the wolf that claims her heart, Vynasha plans to claim her power as the curse breaker.

A war is about to begin between the forgotten people of Wylderland and the cruel might of Bitterhelm. Beings of prophecy and legend unite in the epic third chapter of the Wylder Tales Series, a romantic gothic re-telling of Beauty and the Beast.
